Laminaria Cervical Dialators
The gradual and uniform swelling of this natural substance, a byproduct of seaweed, is far less traumatic than rapid dilation, making Laminaria the preferred method of dilation or softening of the cervix. Normal dilation is two to three times the diameter of the selected size, with most swelling occurring within the first six hours after insertion. Ethylene Oxide processed. All approximately 60mm long. |
